Brian Elliot Band is a hard-grooving funk outfit with deep jazz roots and a love of soulful, syncopated grooves, flavored by the improvisational spirit of the Dead and Allman Brothers. Led by Brian Elliot on guitar and vocals, the band centers on jazz-funk in the tradition of Scofield, Medeski, Lettuce, and more, with Joe Kenney on keys, Dean Gorfti on drums, and Rob Purificato on bass—locking in heavy pocket and high-energy jams from Philly’s north and northwest suburbs.
